Awww *pats mark and chloe on head*

*coughpostjune16th*

The problem is, with London I'd have places to stay but Manchester I wouldn't :( Unless I stayed at my exs house and...just no....'no way no way menah menah etc.'

how about a people all bring instruments and anyone have a go and all laugh at each other for being so bad, meet up that would be fun........

i shall vote for the last option, meaning birmingham, but would go to manc or london if enuf people that i know well are there.

I voted Manchester.

London really is just too far, really. I couldn't go if it was there. Manchester is only a few hours, plus the Megatrain goes there so it's not too expensive.

This would be so awesome if it happens. :D I was just thinking the other day how much I missed you guys.

I think I can only feasibly afford to get to london, as it's only £5 each way on the train, and £30+ at the other places listed. But it actually depends more on whether I can find a free place to crash at, cos I can't afford a hotel or anything. Money sucks.

I don't think I could go to Manchester, purely because I would have nowhere to stay :S Though I do love the Manchester. bah.

I miss the Star and Garter :(

Either for me really, as i've said.

London would cost more to get to, but i'd have somewhere to stay.
Manchester would be cheaper to get to but i'd have to pay for a hotel.

I really want to make sure I go this time and not wimp out like every other one. I've met hardly anyone and it's been years since I last saw the few people I have met and I was alot more shy then so barely spoke. I'm alot less likely to wimp out of going if it's in London, because I should have no excuse. It's easy enough for me to get to, providing I don't have anything else on, which I rarely do.

Would it maybe be easier to have it at somebody's house? That way we wouldn't have to go through all the trouble of having to gather money and sell tickets like we usually have to do when hiring out a function room. That takes a *lot* out of the planning. Plus we can still have our own music. We'd just have to find someone who's got the right sort of accomodation... I'd volunteer my house but I doubt anyone will come to Norwich. :p

Barring that, maybe just meeting up at a pub. One that isn't usually really crowded, so we'll have lots of room. We wont be able to do the band thing then i suppose, but I really want to just see people again and chat.

These are just lame ideas though. If someone is actually willing to go through the whole room-hiring process and organise it all that'd be great too.

why do we need to hire a function place anyway? surely it'll be a lot less stressful and hassle to all just meet in a pub and take over a decent sized section of it? it's not like anyone on here is under 18 anymore either.

I guess the problem is, that yes it'd be much easier to not have to hire somewhere, but yeh, it would suck if people came all the way down and arrived late and then had nowhere to sit by everyone for the entire evening. That would suck. It's horrible when you meet up at the pub and you get stuck on the seat at the end so can't keep up with conversations. Guess it depends how many people want to come. Thus should we try and set a date? ( note, AFTER June 16th :) )

I know the venue hiring is a bit of a hassle, and I understand if people don't want the stress of having to organise a proper big meet thing... but i'm honestly not sure i'd come if we were all just sitting in a pub for a night. Would be an awful long way to travel and lot to spend just for a pub... :?
