glandular fever/leicester/crap

Postby behooved girl » Mon Nov 08, 2004 1:09 pm

right... well i just got back from the doctors after nearly dying from fever last night, and they think there's a good chance i might have glandular fever :( :( but they won't know for sure until next monday cos they can't do a blood test until a week after i've had symptoms.

but then there's also a less likely chance that it's just tonsilitis or some random virus that'll clear itself in a few days.

i just hate not knowing :(

and now i'm stuck with the possibility that if it's glandular fever, i wont be well enough by next weekened to go to the leicester party. :( and i don't want to have to wait and call it the day before or anything, because i know people have to book train tickets and stuff.

so i don't know what to do. :? if you guys want to go ahead and have it anyway and i'll just see whether i'm well enough to attend, i understand.

i swear to god i'm cursed though... after finally overcoming the 6000 mile hurdle, this has to go and happen :(

thanks guys. xx

ok don't cancel anything just yet. i seem to have developed a cough, which (i think)(hopefully) isn't a symptom of glandular fever. making it more likely that i just have some evil fucked up virus that's pretending to be glandular fever, but will take less than a year to recover from. preferably less than a week. *hopes*

I get a cough when I have tonsilitus, it's usually when it's starting to go away.
