For some reason the bored won't recognise the fact that the clocks have gone forward - so everyone will need to adjust their timezone in their profile to 'GMT +1 Hours' to have the correct time displayed, sorry!

do you think it could have anything to do with the fact that daylight savings doesn't kick in until april 4th in the US? if so, it'll probably fix itself in a few days.

How the hell does THAT work? I've never fully understood daylight savings. It's like...you can't just change time. So for it not to change until a bit later in the USA...that's just WRONG!

That's far too long to make sense to me! Actually I just can't concentrate on it, my eyes hurt. Someone tried to explain it to me once. I don't understand.

apparently it's a problem for people with sleeping disorders...how? They might lose an hour in summer, but they gain an hour in winter...where's the problem??

cos sometimes people with sleeping disorders are able to somewhat control it by keeping their sleeping pattern very very routine.. going to bed and getting up at exactly the same time every day. 1 hour difference could throw that off...

why can't we just move with the times and scrap the whole daylight savings thing?

it's not like it makes any difference to anything.

i know in the war they had double daylight saving so the farmers could work longer

the cows dont quite get why they have to get milked an hour earlier but they get more annoyed when the clocks go back cos if theyre ready to be milked its uncomfortable for them to hang round for an hour.

they had to bring it in because in the winter too many kids were walking to the school in the dark, and suchlike.

but i love it when you get to this time of year because suddenly its light for an extra hour and that's just wonderful.

When you're standing on the door of Shepherds Bush Empire and darkness is suddenly moved from 6.30ish to 7.30ish it makes a difference!
