Steve is seling one of his 3 Musicman bass guitars and asked me to post details here in case anyone is interested.

He has played this bass many times during the Dum Dums career & has played it recently with Clarkesville as well - he has however decided to part with it as he's looking to purchase a vintage bass & has 3 musicmen as it is!

Hmmm, I could afford it but not sure I'd be the best owner, since I don't currently play bass and it would end it just on the wall in my room. I could then point at it and say 'that belonged to Steve!' which would be slightly teenybopperish, so perhaps not.

Mind you, this doesn't seem to stop me from thrusting Josh's t-shirt from the first Dum Dums gig at unsuspecting friends who haven't seen it before and knows who he is

I'd still love that bass though...

as in.. why do you ask? general enquiry or cos he's selling one of his basses? if it's the first.. he's fine... if it's the second then he has 3 musicman basses and they were great for playing in a 3 piece, but now he's playing with Mike I think he just wants something with a different sound, either that or he wants something new and shiny!! So he's selling this one to go someway towards buying a new one!
