The Bored is reborn....yet again!

Postby James » Mon Jan 07, 2013 5:40 pm

So, hopefully you're logging into the sparkly new Bored and all is well!?

I've upgraded the Bored to the latest version of phpBB. If anyone wants to create visual templates and all that jazz, let me know and I'll give you access (I don't really have time to do this myself).

I've deleted all the spam accounts, so we have a respectable 364 users, not 143,000 people trying to sell us penis enlargers.

If anyone has any problems logging in, please let me know on Twitter, Facebook, Email etc. and I'll see what I can do.

All the 'inactive' users and those with zero posts are gone, so if you registered an account and never used it, you'll have to re-create it.

You can also now CHANGE YOUR USERNAME, so if you want something more grown up, you can change this in your 'user control panel' (link top left) ;-)

I have made the following users Moderators as I know they're geeky enough to do anything that might need doing if I'm not available: Mark Everclear, Sal, Phoenix Ferret & TEXAS.

Any questions? :D

Only a couple of hours time, but I'm happy to 'donate' that to keep the Bored going :-)

I'm pretty sure it's been said before, but if it ever costs anything shout and I'm sure a few of us will chip in to cover costs :)

What is the difference between your PM outbox and your sent items? Why does why Outbox say (1) next to it when I think I've sent a PM? :?
