meet up places

Postby Anna » Thu Mar 15, 2007 3:02 am

let's make a poll. you have 10 days to tick your place!
Gimme your Pile and gimme your tail.

I live in New York, and I was thinking about the lagoon in Central Park, down near Central Park South. I was wondering if it would be frozen over when I got home, and if it was, where did the ducks go. I was wondering where the ducks went when the lagoon got all icy and frozen over. I wondered if some guy came in a truck and took them away to a zoo or something. Or if they just flew away.

I voted London because it's at least a direct train for me. But can I just keep stressing AFTER JUNE 16th. Pleasepleaseplease, I'm lovely, you want to meet me :(

I voted London, because now I'm a Southener, innit.
But if it's in summer I might be back in Brum, so Manchester's also good.

Voted Scotland, but I think that's wishful thinking...

Manchester is better distance-wise obviously, as it's only 3 & 1/2hrs on the train, but London is only a couple of hours more and at least I know people I could stay with there without bothering with hotels and such crap.

Basically, not too fussed.

I voted for manchester obviously but i'm not averse to birmingham, being that i still have a bed in wolverhampton so it wouldn't be too difficult.

There are lots of cool places in manchester! comecomecome!

if it were in manchester, you can get a single to manchester for £10 if you book far enough in advance and it only takes a shade over 2hrs.

If the Real McFly are playing I'll have to drive to wherever it is with my equipment; Glasgow - London ain't happening.

Yeah, I was just thinking that actually. I could fly down and bring my pedals and stuff with me and borrow/hire a guitar and amp.

Might see if I can get a flight case for my Explorer in the meantime though. :)

didn't Stu decide to 'move on' from this bored at some point? I'm sure there was a livejournal post of his to that effect..

If I could play more than two parts of a drum kit at a time, I'd offer to do the drumming :p

If anyone wants to play guitar on anything, I could probably handle the drums for a couple of songs. If necessary, of course.
