Gimme your Pile and gimme your tail.

I live in New York, and I was thinking about the lagoon in Central Park, down near Central Park South. I was wondering if it would be frozen over when I got home, and if it was, where did the ducks go. I was wondering where the ducks went when the lagoon got all icy and frozen over. I wondered if some guy came in a truck and took them away to a zoo or something. Or if they just flew away.

ali - i probably won't be there at all the dates, probably just going to go to one of the legs. it may well end up being the second leg and then i'll do brighton and oxford separately - but i'm not sure. hopefully i'll see you!

I'm gonna try to come to one of the london dates, either the end of this month or in march.

as soon as i got back home yesterday, i told my housemate "remind me to buy NME tomorrow... a band called goodbooks is in it, and they're really good", and she grinned and immediately went to grab her copy of NME that she'd just bought and opened it to the goodbooks page for me. she said it was the only article she'd actually read in it so far... cos it caught her eye first. i'm gonna play the EP for her later. :D

It sadly has - massive apologies from camp GoodBooks - we got offered to do the Camden Crawl that night, and after talking about it loads we came to the conclusion that the Camden Crawl is one night a year and Birmingham will still be there after that night. It's going to be rescheduled really soon, hopefully you'll still be able to make it...

The Bishops - all I know is that they send a lot of MySpace event invites...they've had some pretty good reviews though I think?
Posters and flyering - we're not planning any massive nationwide postering campaigns or anything! Are you going to be there? If you could just...mention it to your mates and stuff that'd be really cool. Do people go to the Faversham Club NMEs regardless of bands playing or..?

cool cool

i will most definitely be there! unfortunately its our easter vacation, meaning a distinct lack of students about, and those who are around are probably working too hard to go out (unlike me, ha!). a couple of mates will be around, so i'll implore them to come, it's bloody expensive but i'll do my best, will try and bribe the boy to come, though he'll hate it.

i've only been to club NME once before. it was packed for the bands, probably because they were local and the research are getting pretty big nationally too. straight after the bands pretty much everyone left and some more people turned up just for the club night. it's cheaper after 10/10.30 so i think a lot of people might just wait til then anyway. so it appeared that people either went just for the bands, or just for the club night. it used to be at another bigger club, but i don't know whether it moved to the fav because it's smaller, or because that guy died at the other club :?
