We should be confirming Sep 14th and 29th very soon - so try and keep one or both of those dates free!

I'm really quite worried now. I have to go to this but i can't actually find anyone who'll go with me and i very much doubt i'd be allowed to travel to london on my lonesome. :(

Gimme your Pile and gimme your tail.

I live in New York, and I was thinking about the lagoon in Central Park, down near Central Park South. I was wondering if it would be frozen over when I got home, and if it was, where did the ducks go. I was wondering where the ducks went when the lagoon got all icy and frozen over. I wondered if some guy came in a truck and took them away to a zoo or something. Or if they just flew away.

yeah vicky. you always say that you can't ever go to anything, but don't really have reasons? just go! if you're really worried about trains and stuff, then I'm sure someone will be able to put you up.

What about if people were gonna meet you at the station (Victoria is it you go into?) and then go back with you to there afterwards. Or as people said, sure someone would put you up.

just point out to them that if you'd chosen to go to uni, you'd be living on your own right now and they wouldn't have a clue what you were doing any of the time, let alone for just one night, when they *would* know where you are.
i found if you give them the exact details of where you're going, venue address/phone no and get all the train times and absolutely everything sorted out and written down for them, it makes it easier and they might be more likely to realise you're serious about going, and that you're perfectly capable of organising it and getting home okay.

also i'm sure if it would put their mind at rest someone would gladly meet you at the station when you get in and make sure you're back there alright (if i could come i would) :)

(i suddenly feel ever so lucky that my mum allowed me to venture to london on my own to meet un-met-before axe murderers like sal and kelly and vic when i was 14, heh)

well i'm trying one more of my friends but if she can't come then i'll have to take someone up on that kind offer if they're willing to meet me at Victoria as that *should* make everything ok with the parentals.

[edit] result! the aforementioned friend is coming with me so i'll see y'all there. :D

so, who is going?!

if there's gonna be a decent number of people there then i'm totally up for it, i'll probably spend all day shopping in london and then get the last train back. but if no ones really going then i'd rather save the train fare and wait til the deciphers are HUGE and do a proper tour!

Do you think I'd be able to get a ticket on the door? As I said before, I'm not sure I'll be in the mood for a gig that night but if I feel ok I do want to be there......hmm. It just all depends.
