Gimme your Pile and gimme your tail.

I live in New York, and I was thinking about the lagoon in Central Park, down near Central Park South. I was wondering if it would be frozen over when I got home, and if it was, where did the ducks go. I was wondering where the ducks went when the lagoon got all icy and frozen over. I wondered if some guy came in a truck and took them away to a zoo or something. Or if they just flew away.

3 min walk!

You'll just have to see about trains going back to Brum afterwards as it might be a late finish.

i actually knew this was gonna be the date for the next gig. only because it's the only evening i'm not free for in the next two months. my best mate's band are having a private party in bristol, so it'll be like 200 of my best friends, ever. argh. i so knew they'd pick this date :(

is very excited

i so love the wharf too

and hopefully this time we won't all get kicked out and so get to speak to the band after

cos at the little civic big bad doormen kicked us all out and then there was only me and ruthy about when the band finally came out Everyone else had gone but it was very late

i love the wharf its my fave place for gigs

and it won't be as hot as the civic either

and i get to drink out of a proper glass and not a plastic one

The last train back to Birmingham is at about 10.28 or something silly like that. It's really evil. I only know because last time Clarkesville played at that place and Vender were supporting, me and my friend Lexi went but had to leave after 1 Clarkesville song!

last trains

Postby Barney » Mon Jun 21, 2004 8:34 pm

yeah that was really pants sarah

are you coming again sarah?

you could always catch a bus to bham as the bus station isn't too far away from the gig and the buses to bham are quite frequent from walsall ( every 15-20mins i think)

Because at the moment they're writing and rehearsing new material, they just want to try stuff out live and play more as a band together - there's not really any need to go all the way down to London to do that when there's places to play in the Midlands.

They will play in other places again in the future, just right now they're going to be concentrating on writing lots of nw material.

Walsall

Postby Hodgey » Wed Jun 23, 2004 9:19 pm

Planning to go to the Walsall gig. As there doesn't seem to be any chance of getting back to Birmingham on the train afterwards let alone Cardiff does anyone know any half decent hotels (but cheap) anywhere nearby?

All the Travelodges etc seem to be miles away!

Thanks! :-)
